Welcome to ESL!

Second Baptist hosts a thriving ESL Ministry. Currently, ESL classes are held on Monday evenings from September 23, 2024 until April 28, 2025 from 7-9 pm in 2BC’s Education Building. We offer Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced classes where students learn to use English in the workplace and in their daily life. In addition to English language classes, there is a Citizenship Class to prepare students to become US citizens. Please note: we do not provide childcare.

Each session also includes a break time when students can visit 2BC’s “Clothes Closet” where gently used clothes and shoes are available, free of charge.

BAD WEATHER CLOSING POLICY:

When bad weather closes Henrico Public Schools, there will be no ESL classes.
