West Virginia Summer Mission Trip
May 26 – June 1
This year marks 11 years of mission trips to McDowell County, WV, one of the most impoverished counties in the US. Unemployment consistently hovers at 25%, with 70% of the children living in foster homes or in single-grandparent homes. This region of Appalachia is rife with difficulty and hardship.
This year our trip is from May 26 through June 1
We are looking for donations & volunteers to help us achieve:
- A volunteer construction team to build/repair handicapped ramps, make flooring repairs, and do drywall construction and painting.
- We will prepare homecooked meals and deliver them to the homebound, indigent, and elderly. We will also provide them Communion.
- We will purchase and distribute grocery store gift cards and baby formula to those in needs.
Even if you can’t join us, you can support our efforts through donations to “West Virginia Missions.” These donations will go towards the Grocery Store gift cards. Please donate today!
